In conjunction with the Bermuda Red Cross & Department of Energy, students in the Youth Climate Summit visited a number of communities to raise awareness about energy efficiency and installed LED bulbs in a number of households. The exchange between the communities and the students was an enriching experience for all and so many lessons were learned on how best to apply sustainable energy strategies at a community level. We want to thank the YCS Director, Dr. Rosemarie McMahon and all the students for their commitment to climate action. The Bermuda Red Cross will continue to promote solutions that make our community resilient to impacts of climate change.
