MoH STATEMENT REGARDING VACCINATIONS MARCH 30 2022

COVID-19 vaccinations after March 31

The Ministry of Health reminds the public that the Pier 6 vaccination centre will close on March 31. After March 31, free vaccines will continue to be available at the Hamilton Health Center. The Ministry of Health will continue the fourth dose at the old Crissons Jewellers location on the ground floor of 71 Front Street, Hamilton starting Friday, April 1, from 12 noon until 5:30 pm. As there is no convenient access for wheelchairs, clients who use wheelchairs should be accommodated by their physicians, or they can attend the Hamilton Health Centre.

After March 31, the COVID-19 vaccine will be available through participating physicians’ offices and participating pharmacies, and there will likely be a charge for this service.

“The Ministry of Health is confident that there is enough supply of COVID vaccines to meet the current demand,” said Minister of Health, Kim Wilson, JP, MP. “However, we strongly advise everyone who wants to receive the vaccine or is eligible for the booster to register online as soon as possible or call the vaccine hotline on 444-2498, option #2.

“Parents wishing to get the COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5-11 should register as soon as possible as our current paediatric vaccine supplies are limited.”

Parents wishing to register their 5-11-year-old children should first register their child on gov.bm/vaccines and then contact their paediatrician to arrange to get the vaccine. If your child does not have a paediatrician, contact the Hamilton Health Centre on 332-8906 for assistance in scheduling an appointment.
