As part of the She Leads: A Real-World Readiness Programme, Bermuda Red Cross was thrilled to have a part. We hosted 25 young ladies in our Thrift Shop, where they were able to select appropriate clothing for a job interview. This turned into something more because many of them hadn’t been in a thrift shop and they were pleasantly surprised to see the quality and value of the items. They helped each other to find items to wear and had an enjoyable experience. They were each given $10 to spend and most managed to come away very happy with their purchases.
