Bermuda Red Cross participated in Skyport’s Emergency Exercise “Rapid Response” held at Clearwater Beach on Thursday, November 18th 2021.
Skyport staff simulated an aircraft accident off Clearwater Beach in St George’s to test its current crises response plan in the event of an aircraft in the water and to allow Skyport, relevant government departments and the airport community to respond more effectively and efficiently with Emergency response plans and coordination.
Bermuda Red Cross Disaster Manager, Diane Gordon along with Psychosocial FA Team Leaders, Lisa Brewster (Central) and Richard Lathan (West) were a part of the interagency emergency responders on hand to assist.
